Program Info

Youth Basketball

Our goal is to teach our kids the fundamentals of the sport of basketball, while we create a safe environment for learning, playing and enjoying the game of Basketball.

The program is for Buckeye Valley students in kindergarten through 6th grade. We offer clinics for K/1st graders, mini-ball for 2nd and 3rd graders, and COBA teams for 4th-6th graders.

We are aligned with the BV High school program and are excited for the opportunity to help develop these kids. GO BARONS!

You MUST Try-out for this league. Fee covers: uniform, shooting shirt (player gets to keep), referees, gym rental, association fees, team equipment, awards, and one paid tournament. Practices will be 2 nights per week starting in late October. Games will begin in early December and continue through February (usually 2 games per weekend). Players and coaches are expected to attend all practices/games. All home games will be played at Buckeye Valley Schools. League teams are located in the central Ohio area.

If your son and/or daughter is interested in playing Buckeye Valley Youth COBA basketball, they must attend at least one day of our upcoming tryouts. Parents are also required to attend a meeting in the BVMS cafeteria during your player’s first day of tryouts. Tryouts are closed, so only the BVHS basketball coaches, who select the teams, are allowed in the gyms.
